I thought I’d take a bit about a typical customer of ours, and the work we do for him on a regular basis.
This customer lives in Clapham, and owns several properties around the Clapham / Battersea area which he rents out. Every year we carry a Landlords Gas Safety inspection of all his gas appliances, we service all 4 boilers (1 per property), and throughout the year we’re on call 24/7 to attend to any issues his tenants might have.
A few common examples of those might be:
1. A leaking toilet at 20:00 at night – His tenants would call us directly (we know most of them by name by now), and we’d send round a plumber to fix the problem.
2. A tenant wakes up to NO HOT WATER! They’d give us a call (with no need to bother their landlord), and we’d send round one of our Gas Safe heating engineers to repair the boiler
3. In between tenancys decorating – one of the properties might need a bit of a freshen up. We’d send round our decorators to give a coat of paint and a bit of a facelift. Together with one of our handymen, who could fix locks on doors, refit shelves, repair cupboard doors etc.
